 hi   my dodge ram fuel trims:  When the engine is cold in open-loop what should fuel trims read?   my dodge ram STFT is positive 29% while the long term is neg 24% at idle in open-loop engine first started cold but they come back into specs as the engine warms to normal temp and become LT neg 8 or so and ST switches nicely around  zero .......should i be looking for a problem with the trims so far out at idle cold open loop or is that what the fuel map runs at?    thank you    Frank

Frank,
My first impression is that this is to be ignored. Likely as you said a reflection of the warm up fuel map, or even just a place holder number. As long as the trims are good in closed loop operation and the truck isn't setting trim related trouble codes, I would not think there to be a problem
