Hi, I have been a rather new individual to your youtube content, and it has been awesome. I very much appreciate what you offer people, its so commendable. Anyway, I come from a motorcycle world, so not being completely ignorant to the combustion engine, a car is certainly a different animal.
I have a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee, a deer ran in front of me about a week into having the vehicle the front of the Jeep showed significant damage, but was thought to be mostly cosmetic - outside of the radiator. It was able to be driven, and started with no differences from before the deer. I was able to get it to a parked location, and once there noticed the fluid (turned out to be coolant due to a crack in the radiator). I attempted to drive it roughly 5miles to install new radiator, hood, etc. About a mile away started acting funny, and what seemed to be a stall. I was able to get it into a parking lot and once stopped, would not even attempt to crank. I was able to determine the starter was shot, replaced the started and now cranks and for a split second seems like it wants to turn over but never does, and then just cranks. I have spark, spec reading of fuel pressure on the rail, engine turns manually which led me to believe there wasn't major mechanical issues ( the temp never read higher than normal) even with little to no coolant. Radiator has been repaired and holds coolant, healthy battery (it is new). Check engine light came on while attempting to get the jeep for repairs, but no codes (albeit a cheap reader from advance auto) via reader and key method. Getting 5v on both reference circuits. It is hard for me to believe that that the sensors would have gone out while driving and had been fine before hand, but the started of course had started the jeep to start on the trip, but was shot getting into the parking lot where everything started to go wrong. I am assuming some type of electrical issue, checked fuses and relays. So I have come to the end of my existing knowlegde and any help would be greatly appreciated on a next step.

Have you verified if youre getting fuel pulse
from injectors?

I'd also suggest checking for injector pulse, like LegendsAuto mentioned. The injector connectors are easily accessible on the 3.7L. Simple incandescent test light will work.

Alternately, you could spray some brake cleaner into the intake tube while cranking the engine. If the engine starts and runs, continue down the fuel delivery path. You could also pull a spark plug and check for fuel on the tip of the plug.

Could you post a video of the engine cranking?
