Code P0335 Nissan Versa 2008 was created by Lromeroe#$
Hi guys, the code P0335 on a Nissan tiida 2008 1.8 in Mexico, a Nissan Versa in the U.S.A., if I am not mistaken. Is what I have problems with. I replaced the camshaft sprocket (INT) and the vehicle starts ok and runs for 20 or 25 minutes with no problem, but after that begins shaking badly and dies. I already tried 2 crank sensors from AutoZone and a third one from the dealer without any good results. To my experience, I checked the wires, and they looked ok. I want to know what the crank resistance is for this type of sensor. I haven't compared the correlation of the crank and cam signals because I need to get a copy of how they look alike. Any help from you guys will be appreciated. This is my second time using this service. Thank you. Lromeroe#$

I want to know what the crank resistance is for this type of sensor

Nissan service info provides a resistance spec for the crank sensor:

charm.li/Nissan-Datsun/2008/Versa%20L4-1...Code%20Charts/P0335/

So, anywhere between dead short or open circuit.

The problem is that the Versa crank sensor is a Hall-effect, and resistance testing (unfortunately) doesn't tell you much about possible problems in the sensor.

I haven't compared the correlation of the crank and cam signals because I need to get a copy of how they look alike.

Nissan is kind enough to provide a known good cam/crank, too:
