1998 ford E350 5.4 V8 was created by Jorgecardenas26
Good afternoon. I could use some help. I have a 1998 ford E350 5.4 v8 vehicle shutters when going around 30-35 mph in 4th gear with little throttle. If you let go of throttle it goes away. If you give it more throttle it goes away. Only code i have is p0420 stored. I removed the driveshaft and it seams fine. Carrier bearing is good. Tires are good. Any suggestions i would appreciate it. And if possible you can call me anytime 9092896994. Name is Jorge.

Sounds like possible torque converter shudder. You can monitor the data pid for converter lock up and see if the symptom aligns with converter clutch engagement. Usually tapping the brake pedal cancels converter operation, so if you can hold it in the sweet spot where the shutter is happening and tap the brake with your left foot and see if the shutter goes away. I have had very good luck with fluids friction modifiers like Shudder Fix to correct this issue, even if just temporarily

It seems like i do have a torque converter shutter. I replicated the system and tap on the break and it does go away. What would be the best fixed for this?

Results are usually instant with the Lube Guard shudder fix addative. I would go ahead and add a bottle to the trans fluid and if you find it necessary, consult a transmission rebuild specialist.

I did add a bottle of line guard shutter fix and it did not help.

Oh well, that's disappointing.
Transmission internal is not something I am familiar with. Like I said, I would consult a transmission rebuilder.
Let us know how you make out
