Ford expedition 2003 5.4L no crank no start B1602 code was created by Malqubaiti
Hi Team,
I was working on this ford doing tune up job and i did replaced coils and injector plugs as they were broken. when i started the car injector for cylinder one wires was not sealed to the connector and the mistake i did i pulled it out of the connect and touched the fuel rail while the car was running. suddenly car shutoff and wont crank again. I scanned the car and code B1602 showed up. its related to the key or the immoblizer.
any idea where should start?

If you touched the positive feed to the fuel rail with the engine running, it would probably blow a fuse. I would start by checking fuses.

I already checked fuses. for PCM there is two fuses and a relay. all okay.

Which wire touched the fuel rail? Was it an immediate stall as soon as it happened?
Even with an immobilizer code, the immobilizer will not kill a running vehicle, and I don't think it will stop a car this old from cranking. You say this a a no crank/ no start, correct?
