Hi question is I got 2004 mercury mountaineer 4.6L dirive fine all suddenly transmission fluid start leaking from bottom I checked found passenger side next to cooler line 4” round cap came off the Trany. I don’t is that mean what caused it to come out it fixable without trany out. Thanx
hi I believe that is a 5r55s transmission are you experiencing any drivability problems any codes is there a lag computer are input output devices the tranny needs inputs from engine it operates under certain pressures and has a think called a valve body more info might be helful
