Missing Data on OBD was created by cenk
Hello everybody,
i have a citroen c4 1.6 vti auto (al4),
and have a very bad problem, climbing uphill is a torture, car loses speed incredibly,
when i connected my cheap obd device and read values from Torque,
i noticed some of values are always zero,
i wonder doesn't my ecu support these values (bosch mev 17.4),
or is that related a CAN issue, fault codes etc.?
please help me
Barometric pressure
absolute engine load
intake manifold pressure
relative throttle position are always zero

Could it just be that the tool has a list of every possible reading and your car doesn't have some of the sensors - so it simply shows "0" for those items?

yes you may be right, but i think at least barometric pressure and intake manifold pressure must have for calculations, and i have never seen them different from zero on any diag tool

I see what you mean - not all cars have a map sensor though, many use the maf sensor to read air flow - but yours show "0" as well. That could also be due to the cheap scanner - we have expensive scanners at work and sometimes one of them shows things wrong.

Torque - really isn't that great and PSA group cars aren't very cooperative with standard OBD2 scantools and ELM327 clones are not true copies of the ELM327 chip.
You could try the inCarDoc app but you probably would be better with a scantool that is optimised for French vehicles. Cheapest I knosw that gives all systems coverage is the iCarsoft i970
