Obviously the hall effect crank & cam sensor have 3 wires.power, ground and signal.but yesterday i was working on Chevrolet 2006 no start condition.error code was p1628 but first started by checking cranksensor signals.I found 2.5 on both wires and 1 ground.anyone have seen this before?

Hi Cyrus!

Did you check for the 5v ref on any of the other sensors?
I think that code refers to a temperature sensor circuit. Just for our information, what kind of Chevrolet and which engine?
