98 S-10 Anti-Theft

We have this vehicle come into our facility as a no start. It was in relearn mode, learns the key and fires up, then it will forget the key after a couple of days anywhere between 2 and 5 days. We have done the following:

NEW PCM
NEW BCM
BYPASSED THE KEY WITH A 2200 OHM RESISTOR
LABSCOPED THE POWER WIRES GOING TO THE BCM
CUT THE YELLOW AND ORANGE BLACK WIRE WITH THE RESISTOR TO LEAVE IT OPEN, STILL STARTS AND RUNS.
