2003 Infiniti G35, crank no start, no injector pulse. was created by Logan98
Hello, I recently came into contact with a 2003 Infiniti G35 with no injector pulse. It has fuel pressure, spark, compression, timing and even 12v constant to the feed wire on the injectors, yet no ground. Ecu is good, no NATS issues. Although I do sometimes get a U1000 or U1001 which is CAN communication malfunction. Could that really stop that car from working? Any ideas on what the issue could be?
Thank you guys.

KOEO, Do you have Battery voltage on the control wires, at the ECM?
To address the U1000/U1001, The CAN bus is a two wire bus on which most modules communicate with each other. On the bus are two "terminating resistors" of 120 ohms, each. This will give a total bus resistance of 60 ohms. At the DLC connector, Pin 3 is the CAN-L. Pin 6 is the CAN-H. If you place the leads of an Ohm meter between Pins 3 and 6, you should read 60 ohms. This is a good place to start.

I am wondering if this could be a cam sensor issue, it could need the cam sensor to phase the injectors, but the spark is based on the crank sensor alone ?
