I have a 1994 Camaro LT1 (350 ci) w/multi-port injection. Whenever I try to start the engine when it is cold, it starts and then stalls immediately. It does this 3 times, before it will stay running. After that, it runs fine all day. It acts like an old carb engine when cold. Any ideas?
Thank you,
Two things spring to mind.
(1) Check the fuel pressure at switch on and cold cranking also watch how quickly the pressure drops off when the key is switched off.
(2) Lack of cold start enrichment caused by an engine coolant temperature sensor issue.
