God bless you my brothers and sisters.
I got this van last week with complaint of stalling, chuging and hard start after. The customer did a tune up before he brought it too me and still doing the same. I took it on a test run with a fuel pressure gauge on and seen that the pressure was up and down. It went from 35 to 50 while driving so I called a fuel pump. At this time the car did not act up so I told the customer that it needs a fuel pump but that it did not act up on me so the problem might not be fixed. Three day later it's back with the same problem. Only code is 51 coolant temp question is how do I check the distributor to see if it is dropping out.
Thank you.

You need to focus on that coolant temp fault

Don't be a parts changer!

God bless you my brothers and sisters.
The sensor is missing it has a plug instead. This is a old van and it's been around. Lot's of parts missing. It is a stalling problem and it's not constant. I tried duplicating the problem but had no luck with that. Customer got upset and and took the van. Thank you for your help.
