I took our van for a family vacation. After 10 hours of driving the van it suddenly stalled and wouldn't start. It was giving me a p0366 code (I believe) for a crankshaft position sensor failure. Took it to a good year and due to them not having Techs on a Saturday a tire changer installed and programmed the sensor. Now I get a terrible misfire and code p0300. Random misfire is what I'm told and looked up. Any ideas as to why I would go from a crankshaft position sensor failure to a misfire? I wondering if he programmed it wrong or forgot to plug something in.

They found a knowledgeable base article that said to wrap a paperclip around the base of the sensor to shim it further from the crank. It worked! Ran for 4.5 hours perfectly.
