im having a misfire isssue cylinders 3 and 5. swapped everything over plugs coils injectors over to cylinders 2 and 4.., the misfire test in the snap on scanner shows misfire as global disabled. how does it get reset or anything?? trying to help a friend out to see if the misfire moved. it is worse at idle better at off idle..
Does your friend have access to a smoke machine? I've see the lower intake gaskets suck in on those before, amounting to a vacuum leak on a single intake runner. It's usually tough to get water in the right spot to catch it. Other than that, the only choice is to pull the upper intake for a visual.
brand new fel pro gasket. torqued intake to spec. were trying to get the misfire counter to read to see if the miss moved with him swapping the coil plug injector. but it says its globally disabled
