Hey yall. I have a 1996 chevy blazer and ALL my lights flicker when the engine is running. If i unplug the alternator connector it stops, so i changed the alternator with a new acdelco unit. Changing the alternator seemed to help because the flickering went from obvious to you have to be paying attention to notice them flickering now. What should i be checking now to allieviate this problem?

It is going to be a bad connection at some point between the alternator and the battery, as changing the alternator helped it I would start by examining the connectors at the alternator very carefully, also I don't about the US but here in Europe some GM models have the alternator rubber mounted with a separate earth strap between the alternaor and engine block.

I was thinking the samething. I'm gonna upgrade the starting and charging power and ground feeds to a heavier gauge wire. Let you know how it turns out.
