Okay lean code 51 on a 3.9 v6 Dodge customer changed all sensors fuel pump and timming chain recently truck never ran right sense he bought it he says reason for changing chain was the truck would stall . After he changed the timing chain truck runs but has no power and when cold starts it runs like it has a big cam realy low idle but then it comes back up and runs somewhat smooth once warm . He says he is 100% positive the timing marks are correct but I don’t think so when I checked the firing order it is correct BUT all the wires are back one post on the distributor. What I mean is #1 on the distributor cap itself is not #1 instead #2 is #1 and #2 is #3 and so on it will not run if put in the proper location my question is do u think it is incorrect timing chain install like I do and if so would it cuase the symptoms that I listed I just really don’t want to tear it apart and be wrong because the guy is really really positive that he got the marks right ...thanks
