got a 2008 silverado 1500 that the right front turn signals do not work. sounds so basic i hate asking but i am lost. right now i feel my diagnostics skills are about as good as my writing skills so please bear with me.
both bulbs were blown for turn signals so we replaced. still did not work. checked wiring and fuses. the wiring in the passenger side front door was pinched between the door panel so i corrected that. did not see any other problems. i can use power probe and power up turn signal circuit from body control module connector x4 pin 5 and both right front turn signal bulbs light up and power probe does not trip breaker. right rear turn signals work fine so do not think turn signal switch. right front does not work with hazards either.
from my testing i think body control module so i get a rebuilt one from flashmasters. i install it and get the exact same problem. follow the same tests and get the same results. what am i missing? did i really get a bad module with the exact same problem?
alldata did not show this fuse for anything to do with turn signals but you were spot on. went and checked and it was blown. replaced and turn signals work now.
went back and checked diagrams for body control module and it showed it there.
thank you very much.
