By posting the year, make, model and engine near the beginning of your help request, followed by the symptoms (no start, high idle, misfire etc.) Along with any prevalent Diagnostic Trouble Codes, aka DTCs, other forum members will be able to help you get to a solution more quickly and easily!
Each time I do this, I start it, it stalls, leave it sit for 10, off for 2 seconds then back to on and the security light goes out within 3 seconds. The light doesn't stay on after the first on/off cycle.
