Mercedes w202 ABS BAS ESP dash light on problem was created by Ali
Mercedes w202 c280 model 2000 has problem ABS BAS ESP dash light on .
We did scan for DTC and was code P1584 stop brake pedel switch ..
We replaced stop brake pedel switch dash lights abs bas esp still on ....
What is wrong with issue ....

I have seen this on other cars of this era with the Bosch system, the brake light switch was Hall Effect and the clearance between the switch and the bracket is hyper critical, if the switch is even slightly loose in the bracket it will fail the switch on circuit test. ISTR we glued the switch io the bracket.
