My PT Cruiser has stumped the engineers:( P0882, P0700 was created by elkhorn179
Chrysler gave up troubleshooting my PT Cruiser. original codes P0882 and P0700. I have a new PCM, new TIPM, new wiring harness, new battery & new shift pack solenoid. Over 100 hours of tech time, three shops and still no progress. HELP! Do you want to travel to Lake of the Ozarks? I am not a mechanic, but I have noticed the new battery is losing charge....could that be related to the my code issues?

What voltage do you read on the Transmission Control Circuit? (PCM C4, Pin 18, Lt Grn wire), or ( TIPM C2, Pin 10, Yel/Brn wire)

Just to be certain, was this check done with the connectors connected? If so, disconnect the TIPM and check again. Still not voltage? Dis connect the PCM and check the circuit for continuity to ground.
Copied and pasted:
After a PCM reset, (ignition switch turned to the run position, or after cranking the engine) the Transmission Control System verifies that the Transmission Output circuit is open by checking for voltage on the Transmission Output circuits before the Transmission Control System request for the circuit to be powered up. The request is sent by a direct circuit control from the PCM to the TIPM. If the Transmission Control System detects less that 3.0 volts when the output is commanded on, the DTC will set.

Re-reading the Copy and Paste, I think I miss-understood what it was saying. I said to check the voltage on the "Transmission Control" circuit. I think that was wrong.
Check the OUTPUT circuits.
the Transmission Control System verifies that the Transmission is open by checking for voltage on the Transmission Output circuits
before the Transmission Control System request for the circuit to be powered up.
Check the OUTPUT circuits.
