Nissan Sentra 1997 idle problem was created by boszkenneth31
GoodDay, everyone have a proble with my nissan sentra 1997 model
when i turned on my a/c rpms go down. but, if i unplug a/c compressor clutch socket and i turned on a/c switch rpms go up.
i need your reply to solve my problem to my nissan. Thank you guys.

I would guess it also happens when you turn major electrical loads on or turn the power steering ? Usually it will be just the inlet air control valve
and throttle body needing cleaned with throttle body cleaner or similar. So I would try that first before looking any further.

Agree with Andy on the throttle body cleaning being your first step.
What you are describing would be a normal reaction (rpm rise with ac clutch disabled)
The computer sees the input that a load is taking place so the command is there to increase the IAC position to account for it. But the load isn't actually there.

By the way im your fan from Philippines, im very happy because you help me to solve my problem, i always watched your videos from youtube to learn more about engine diagnostics. im mechanic from philippines for carburetor only and diesel engine not Fuel injection, but i dont know how to solve any problem from Fuel Injection engine., so i watched your videos.Thank You Mr. Danner,
