I have an elmscan 5 that I use with my laptop. I think I found the pid for adjusting the can retard , but wanted to verify. Got the suburban up and running , but this value says the timing is at 24 degrees !

I think that's the one. :cheer: Don't forget to raise the engine speed above 1000 RPM to update that PID during adjustment.

It is set, only took 3 tries to set it properly :lol: It actually ran with timing that retarded.

Nice. B) What do you think of that ScanXL software? I see it's about $90 plus some kind of GM add-on. Worth it?
