By posting the year, make, model and engine near the beginning of your help request, followed by the symptoms (no start, high idle, misfire etc.) Along with any prevalent Diagnostic Trouble Codes, aka DTCs, other forum members will be able to help you get to a solution more quickly and easily!
Like Dreamcatcher300, I'm thinking of a fuel delivery issue. Pumps are a common failure on those. Can you monitor pressure during the start/stall?
Or, get some alternate fuel (carb cleaner, propane, whatever) and feed it into the intake through the brake booster hose. Watch for injector pulse at the same time. If you can keep it running by feeding it fuel, AND the injector pulse doesn't disappear, then definitely look at a fuel delivery issue.
You might also consider that the fuel in the tank may be bad after sitting so long.
