God bless you my brothers and sisters.
I got this 04 sentra with a stalling problem the first time it got here it had the same codes. All i did was pull code for him and I was asked that code should he worry about i said we need too look at p1271 and p0507. Customer went too a junk yard and got a A/F sensor and i installed it, it did not fix his problem. At this time i did find a vac. leak I fixed it and the stalling was more frequent . Question here is can a bad A/F sensor cause the car to stall ? How do i check the A/F sensor ? Where should I start?
Thank you for your help

Hi Gilbert,
I am no way the caliber of guys like Noah, Ben, Tyler and several others...so take my advice with a grain of salt. To address the stalling problem first, I would check to see if the throttle body and the MAF sensor needs cleaning. Then I would focus on that P0340 (CMP circuit) first, checking the power and ground and also scope it. Also check the battery engine grounds ( and possibly even check the battery itself). Which engine is in this? the 1.8 or the 2.5?

Rockp2 thank you for your respond, this is a 1.8L the t/b is clean and so is the maf sensor. I did fined a bad wire on the T/B and also one at the A/F sensor fixed them both but no change. I'm still looking at wire harness for bad wires.

Ninjaxchicken thank you for your response this is a drive by wire system the iac has been replaced with the T/B. After the car warms up
the idle drops and iac kicks in. In other words it surges till it shuts off when cold the car idles high at about 1000 RPM. Question how long dose this system have to hold fuel pressure after it shuts down?

Thank you Monde, so the yellow and green is the 5v for the temp sensor. So do you think I should replace the maf sensor, will a bad cause the A/F sensor to read rich?
