Issue #1.
Going freeway speed I noticed what felt like an engine stumbled or the transmission down shifting just slightly and then immediately going back into high gear. It happened so fast couldn't tell what happened.
A short time later it happened again, this time more noticeable, still not sure if it was a stumble or a downshift with an immediate shift back into high gear.
Then it did it again, this time it was real noticeable. I could tell it definitely was not a downshift but a hard stumble and then it did it again within a few seconds.
Got off the freeway and went down a side road just driving around at a slower speed to see if it was going to stall. It did not but upon stepping on the gas a little abruptly a few times I noticed what seemed like the engine was missing just slightly in all cylinders. It felt like a slight shudder.
After driving around for awhile, I stop at a grocery store parking lot and shut off the engine. Then after 20 minutes I decided take my chances and drive home. The road I took had a speed limit of 55 MPH. During that time I was on that road the engine seemed to run fine, up until I got into the city streets (25 MPH), and then it happened again. This time it was so bad I thought it was running out of gas but I had a full tank. I stopped at a traffic light and the engine just shut down. I restarted it without any trouble and proceeded to continue on home.
A few hundred yards later it acted like it wanted to stall out again so I pulled over and shut off the engine for 20 minutes. This scenario went on several times all the way home, stopping, shutting off the engine for 15 minutes or so and then continuing on my way.
Issue #2.
On cold starts the idle hunts up and down for a couple minutes then evens out to normal RPM rang.
Issue #3.
Occasionally upon cold starting the engine the RPM would instantly race to 2000-2500 RPM. I would shut off the engine, tap on the IAC with a piece of metal and then it would start and run without the high RPM. The IAC was replaced with a new one but still does it.
Issue #4.
Long crank time when engine is cold, but only after sitting for some time, maybe a few hours.
