God bless you my brothers and sisters.
I got this maxima with a jumped chain question is does this piston hit the valves when off time. Question # 2 I don't have a leak down tester I just put air straight from the compressor. I set the 2,4,6 on top dead center and on all 3 i have air coming out of the intake does this confirm that the valves are bent?
Thank you for your help.

I would say "Yes.". :(

Yeah, pretty sure these are valve benders. :( I read the same thing on Mitchell that pole71 found.

2-4-6 is the front bank? You can pull the valve cover and eyeball the shim buckets on the valves. If there's a noticeable gap between the bucket and the cam lobe, they're bent. If not, maybe consider a stuck VVT actuator?

Tyler so you are saying to check the valve gap and if i have a difference from the specs they are bent?
Thank you brothers

Eh, you can check against spec if you want. But most of the time, when I've found bent valves this way, the bent ones are obvious. As in, you're looking for .011" and you find 1/4".

NICE. :silly: Those intake valves musta been wide open when the pistons came up. Were all the valves on bank two this way?

Hey Tyler only the intake valves seem to be bent on bank 2.

If it is TDC at end of the compression stroke yes but TDC at the end of the exhaust stroke. You could remove he covers and check the valves are closed and have no excess clearance but I would probably try the compression by removing all the spark plugs except the one you want to check and feel for compression as you bar the engine over that way you can be 100% sure you are on the compression stroke.
