If you have a single cylinder misfire code and a injector control circuit fault for the missing cylinder..... Do you focus on the injector control circuit fault causing the single cylinder misfire?

That all depends on how it's misfiring. Is it a constant misfire? Or intermittent?
But I would certainly check the injector and circuit for the injector, which is generally straight forward. Checking the coil is generally quick and easy as well. I would likely do a relative compression test as well.

Are you a technician? Is this a personal car? Or customer play? What is the car and engine?
