Help us help you. By posting the year, make, model and engine near the beginning of your help request, followed by the symptoms (no start, high idle, misfire etc.) Along with any prevalent Diagnostic Trouble Codes, aka DTCs, other forum members will be able to help you get to a solution more quickly and easily!
If you have a single cylinder misfire code and a injector control circuit fault for the missing cylinder..... Do you focus on the injector control circuit fault causing the single cylinder misfire?
That all depends on how it's misfiring. Is it a constant misfire? Or intermittent?
But I would certainly check the injector and circuit for the injector, which is generally straight forward. Checking the coil is generally quick and easy as well. I would likely do a relative compression test as well.
Are you a technician? Is this a personal car? Or customer play? What is the car and engine?
