Hi scannerdanner I'm in the automotive field little still new I've been doing it for a couple years starting to learn more and more about electrical cuz that's the favorite thing I like to do but I had this car come in would not turn over nothing put the scanner on it still says it's in gear I went to the relay I only had one power at the relay I checked my signal coming from my PRNDL switch to the computer but I don't have my signal coming out of the computer my boss changed the computer and it still didn't do anything so could you give me some advice

Hey james! Are you positive you've got a 01 Cobalt? Or a Cavalier? Not trying to nitpick, just trying to find accurate service info. ;-)

It matters because an 01 Cavalier has no starter relay, but a Cobalt probably does. Before all that, are you sure the shift cable is connected? Just wondering if the cable broke, and the no crank is a symptom.
