hello, I've got a p0001
Code on 04 sprinter 2.7
Diagnosing and checking for the last week, question is with a dmm I'm getting batt voltage on one terminal of FPR solonoid and 3 volts on other terminal. Unplugged and checked on ecu pins too. Same. Does the earth switch read 3v with dmm?
Vehicle is turned off with key on.
Parts are extremely expensive on these things and I want to get the right one.
Ecu,cp3,fpr.
I am frustrated.
Thanks
Hello again, forgot to add sprinter runs with 5200 fpsi
At idle, can only rev to 3k rpm
Should be getting 4+k.
Changed fuel filter no leaks.
At 3k rpm only gets up to 8-13k fpsi. Lift pump is working.
Still frustered
Thank you
The 3v is probably a bias voltage, it looks like the fpr is open circuit.
Check resistance of the fpr to confirm or check voltage with a scope to make sure that the 3v is steady and not a average of a switching 12v signal
