Does anybody know if the wiring for the power door lock actuator should have a one way diode soldered into the wiring between tan wire going to actuator, and ground?
This is commonly done for circuit protection. Perhaps, someone with more electronic knowledge can elaborate, more.

Well I would think the engineer would install the diode in the electronic part like the master switch ,and not the wiring. Wiring diagram doesn't show any diode along the wiring. It's a 2004 chevy colorado.thanks
