2001 Honda Civic Cranks but no start was created by wlester
So i have a 2001 Honda Civic EX 1.7 L Automatic with 167,000 miles, was running fine parked in the driveway came out the next morning Crank but no start.

Here is what I've done to this point:

Checked timing belt All is good
Checked for fuel pump prime and you can hear the pump.
Removed air filter housing, disconnected fuel line at the fuel rail and gas is present, no easy access for a pressure gauge.
Poured a small amount of gas in T.B. still no start in fact no change in cranking
Searched internet for wiring diagram.
Got my test light out checked under-hood fuse No. 6 &17 both are good (checked all fuses both under-hood and under-dash all were good
Also verified both the PGM-FI Main Relay 1 and PGM-FI Main Relay 2 are working.
I know the relays are working because 1 i have power at the IAC and 2 i have fuel pump prime.
I the checked for spark taking my test light to ground and holding the tip of my light about a 1/2" away from the coil on plug and spark is present. Check two different coils.
Then i checked for power to the injectors and all is good
Disconnected the injector and tested for injector pulse, test light to battery + and i have injector pulse.
Just for the he*% of it i checked for power at the ignition coils and all had power.
I checked the cam and crank sensor and i had power and ground on both circuits Don't have a scanner so that all i could do.
Pull plugs all were fouled gas soaked

Assumption Cam and crank sensor must be good if i have ignition coil spark and injector pulse.
Once the weather breaks i will check timing No.1 Cyl to TDC and will also do a compression test.

Any suggestions, guesses any thing at all would be appreciated

Oh forgot just because it was easy to get to a checked TPS Good 5 Volt Reference, good ground Did a sweep test 1.01 volt to 4.98 volts at WOT

Try an exhaust back pressure test, possible blocked cat. If that checks out I'd have to question timing again, not so much that checking of marks was done incorrectly but more that timing sprockets etc may be damaged and actually turned on their shafts. Meaning you may need some in cylinder pressure testing done on a scope for a truly definitive answer.

Could you T in a pressure gauge after the fuel filter?

Thanks, I'm going to pull the O2 sensor out, easy to get to just to see.
I could tap a pressure gauge in but i did pour some gas in through the T.B i would think if it was a no fuel issue it would started or at least tried to start.

Thanks for the reply

Yes just re-read your first post and as you said you'd think adding fuel to the intake would help if that was the issue. How did the comp test go?
