Nice. B) Good call on the unison ring - I dunno if I'd have had the same confidence! But that ring was definitely toast. Was this a tough sell?

So, now that we know what the problem was, could we see it in the data? Genuine question. I thought this shot might be a clue.



Wondering if the VGTDC% swinging back and forth is the indication that the PCM is chasing it's tail. :huh:

Yes I agree with you, the manifold pressure and vgt do show the lag but without a known good I wasn't sure if this was just turbo lag or a turbo issue. As far as how hard to sell I actually just purchased this truck from a dealer that didn't know what was wrong with it they thought it had a transmission issues.... it just had very low power with the boost issue and it also had 2 bad injectors for reference cylinder contribution showed them at worst about -6 while it was misfiring (with cold engine) warm only showed about -2 .
