Dear Paul,
Please help to explain for this case as follows:
- Car : Ford Ranger 2010 engine 2.5L
- Fuel : Diesel
- Symptom : Engine run with RPM not more than 2500rpm
- DTC code including:
a qwik tip on those circuit high codes one way of checking the wiring is use a test light bring them low and that should narrow it down to the sensor itself
the po0098 is an air temp sensor which I think is a critical input if your ecm doesn't know what the real temp is I believe it will limp home and use substituted values and also may prevent engine from going above 3000 rpm or something like that
