Can u share your ideas on this subject, are we indeed weakimg the mixture due to the throttle valve being open, or does the pcm alter the injector pulse width due to change in map/maf. Many thanks ian

On some vehicles in "clear flood mode" the pcm will severly lean the mixture.

Thanks for the reply, on some vehicles gas pedal fully pressed pcm shuts off injectors, but what if you only have the pedal half way down? Any thoughts. Thanks ian

Most engine controllers with clear flood mode will enter into thiis mode with tps > 80%. You could check tps and injector pulse width PIDs on the scantool in a particular car ànd see the switching criteria /value.

Thanks for the replies, I will over the next few weeks test various vehicles to see what the pcm does to injector pulse with throttle quarter, half and fully open and record my findings many thanks for the replies
