There is still no injector pulse, which no doubt is due to the PATS not letting the injectors fire. The Theft light flashes and I have a P1260 code, as expected. I'm going to call this officially diagnosed! I'll give this thread another update when I get the PATS reprogrammed and the engine finally starts. I'm not sure when I'll have the time and money to tow it somewhere to get that done, but I'll update when I do. Thanks for the help, everyone!

Exranger06 wrote: Update: New ECM arrived in the mail today and I wasted no time installing it. First thing I noticed: the check engine light turns off while cranking, which was not happening before. Second thing I noticed: live data on my scanner shows RPM while cranking, also something that wasn't happening before. I checked the ignition coil connector, and I have a pulse! I hooked up the spark tester and there is spark once again!

YAY! That's exactly what I wanted to hear!
Congratulations to you, sir - That was NOT an easy diagnosis. This'll be the first case I've heard of a PCM that just won't receive a signal from a functioning sensor
I'm gonna consider this fixed if that's cool with you?

Was always kinda disappointed that Ford didn't provide some kind of manual relearn procedure, like GM's 30 minute procedure. Sure, it takes awhile, but it's better than a trip to the dealer.

my rep told me about that with my last update, I haven't had the opportunity to try it out yet myself. Thanks.shayne.johnston wrote:
