me felipe tapia. ?? 02 Mitsubishi montero no power to fuel pump. but when i jump it on the relay one pin to another pin on the same relay, or i put power from battery to the relay pin that power the fuel pump. it receives power . i replace fuel pump thinking it was. the relay is 4 pins one of the pins is for the fuel pump but does not have power . i replace the relay and still the same. please tell me any solutions. or does it have fuel cut off switch, if so, where is located .

Hey Felipe! I went and pulled the fuel pump diagram for reference:
I think the place to start would be some quick checks at the fuel pump relay socket, with the key on. We need to see 12V at at least two of the pins. You can do this with a multimeter or a test light, doesn't matter at this point. Let us know what you find, and we'll suggest further testing.
I also need to clarify a couple things. First, you know that the fuel pump is getting power because you can hear it run? Second, if you jump power to the pump, does the engine run?
