Help us help you. By posting the year, make, model and engine near the beginning of your help request, followed by the symptoms (no start, high idle, misfire etc.) Along with any prevalent Diagnostic Trouble Codes, aka DTCs, other forum members will be able to help you get to a solution more quickly and easily!
2006 Cadillac DTS with a Y vin. Only one engine that year.
2006 Cadillac DTS intermittently cranks a while before it lights off. Not often when cold Displaying codes P0134 for O2 sensor P1133 for O2 sensor. P2A00 for O2 sensor. P0340 for Camshaft position sensor. P0341 for Camshaft position sensor. It seems to help if I step on the gas pedal when it cranks a long time, though I know for a fact there is no throttle cable, or accelerator pump, for whatever it is worth. The current camshaft position sensor is less than a year old as well as the bank 1 sensor 1, 02 if thats the rear manifold. Oh and I just put in a new ECU, Throttle body, throttle pedal position sensor plus a new map and maf sensor as well. It then ran like a new car for several weeks and then Bada bing it fails to start like it should. I've done a pretty fair visual look for the unexpected and as a result cleaned up some of my wiring. Note also the Catalytic was changed in the past 6 months. Your thoughts gentlemen?
I don't know these engines but the cam sensor is one of the most important sensors on an engine, some computers won't start the engine without but some use a fall back strategy and after a few cranks use the crank sensor alone and revert to bank injection rather than fully sequential injection.
As you have codes for multiple sensors could be you have wiring damage or corrosion.
