Hi folks
I'd like some insight on this waveform capture. System voltage fully loaded drops from 13.3 to 12.5 over time
Blue Trace is Current. 100mv per 100ma (1v Scale)
Green Trace is AC Ripple at the alternator (5v Scale) (Bad Diodes?)
What is the negative spikes from? Bad coil? Alternator maxes out at 20a output. According to this if I did my math right its around 10a full loaded?
I know the alternator is bad but I Was just curious what the negative spikes were in the AC waveform
