97 honda accord starts then stalls (FIXED) was created by rod747
Got 97 Honda accord, it starts then stalls then doesn't start again. I replaced the main relay no fix.

Ignition, air, fuel, compression, timing. Check those and I'm sure you'll get it fixed.

How long does it run before it stalls? When it doesn't start, which one of the items that EricGoodrich mentioned are you missing? Start with... Do you have spark? Do you have fuel pressure and injector pulse?

It runs about 10 seconds and then it stalls. I got a p0141 code. after it stalls the starter signal pid says no while I'm cranking it over. I'll be back tomorrow with more info.

Update it is a blown head gasket

Man it was a blown head gasket. I bet u one thing the first thing I do from now on is check the oil lol. It was almost half way up the dip stick and milky looking.
