Need help p1793 tcm code.. has anyone experienced something similar car stalls when coming to a low speed or at a stop

"DTC P1793 will set if TCM sends 2 torque reduction messages to PCM through TRD link circuit and does not receive confirmation from PCM over communication bus."

Pin 10 on the TCM should be a YEL/DK GRN wire. This is the Torq MGMt REQ ciruit. Somewhere along the way, It turns into an ORG/YEL wire and goes to C3 Pin 13 of the PCM (Torq Sense).

Moved to the Repair section. ;-) Also, thanks to pole71 for the awesome info!

How's the transmission fluid level? Because it sure sounds like the torque converter is staying locked in at low speed. I know, that doesn't match the code description, but the symptom still matches.

thanks for the quick response ok so check pin 10 at tcm and don't have tipe of voltage or resistance also check pin number 13 at pcm and shows no voltage at all like if the circuit is dead no customer replaced brand new ecm . my question is do I have a bad ecm/ or a bad tcm ? that's were im confused also checked out the wiring and have no grounded circuit. I also check continuity no broken wires. transmission fluid Is right on the level.

Key On. Engine Off. What voltage do you have on the YEL/DK GRN wire Pin 10 at the TCM?
