I had a code for the cam and crank sensor on a 2006 Lexus GS 300 car won’t start change both cam and crank sensor now it will start once I wouldn’t start again i took to the mechanic shop they had it for one month call me back and said he cant figure it out they check all wire and compression so I pick it up took back home and remove spark plugs once again notice the passenger side had normal wear from when the car would start and I would hold the pedal down and have it run but driver side look new just wet. I just want try something to see what would happen so i remove driver plugs and disconnect maf sensor and attempted to start the car low and behold it started in stay running until I turn it off. I’m thinking No communication with ECU on driver-side. Need help please and thanks

I also would think timing I would say the cam-crank correlation needs to be checked on both banks.

Do these engines have a separate MAP sensor ? ISTR it is MAF engine.
