2000 Jeep 4.0. Multiple cylinder misfire was created by Tootalltocare
Getting misfire codes P300 P301 P302 P306. Data reading has 2 rows for Current sync one reads OK the other keeps jumping from OK to SYNC LOST. I am using a Modus Ultra . Checked the cam and crank signals all looks good. Any ideas what I am doing wrong or what to look for?
Thanks
Dave

Are you feeling a misfire ? These are known for raising multiple misfire codes when no misfire is present. Eric O on the SMA YouTube channel had one recently same year same engine it was crankshaft sensor although crank and cam looked perfect on the scope.

Yes I am feeling it as well as reading it on my scanner. Changed cam, crank, map sensors as well as coil pack and plugs. Checked for vacuum leaks. Just replaced head due to water jacket crack. Drive great for 40 miles then this issue poped up with no warning. Checked compression, cylinder leakage, as well as valve timing, running out of things to check. Wondering if head was assembled incorrectly. Bought new instead of rebuilt to try to avoid any issues.
