2006 Porsche Cayenne S 4.5 V8, P0441, P0300, P2189 was created by kostelectronics
Hi Guys and greetings from Switzerland!
I'm fighting with a friend's car. Porsche Cayenne S 4.5 V8.
I grabbed the following DTC's:
P0441 - EVAP incorrect purge flow
P0300 - Random misfire
P2189 - System too lean at idle (Bank2).
I've already changed a bad PCV few months ago, after this, the car ran fine till now.
Now, the engine shakes at idle and under load, misfires happen randomly too.
I suspect a bad (stuck open or Close) tank vent valve for the P0441. Can this cause the other DTC's too (P0300 + P2189)? Or do i fight with more Problems here? does anybody can help me to fix this?
BR Matthias

You can clamp off or disconnect EVAP hose at the manifold and and block off the hole in the manifold see what happens, BUT what would help is to know the fuel trims short and long term at idle and raised rpm (say 2,000 to 2,500 rpm). If the engine becomes more lean at raised RPM and load it points more towards a faulty MAF sensor.

i would say a stuck open purge valve.
