I HAVE A 4.3 W MOTOR DRIVING ME CRAZY. THE CKP WAVE FORM LOOSES IT PATTERN WHEN YOU REV MOTOR JUST ALITTLE. IT HAS A NEW SENSOR (3 DIFFERENT ONES) AND TRIED SHIMMING THEM. THE LARGER THE SHIM THE BETTER BUT STILL LOOSES SIGNAL. CHECKED POWER , GROUND AND SIGNAL AT THE SAME TIME WITH VERUS ALL LOOKS GOOD. LOOKED AT THE RELUCTOR WHEEL AND SEE NO PROBLEMS. CUSTOMER CHANGED DIST ASSY AND COMPUTER TRYING TO FIX PROBLEM. WILL NOT RUN WITH 0 OR 1 SHIM, NO SIGNAL. I ALSO CHECKED SIGNAL WIRE FOR SHORTS TO GROUND AND POWER. CODE IS P0339. PLEASE HELP I DONT HAVE MUCH HAIR LEFT TO PULL!

The reason I"m here . . . 1999 Ford F150 4.2L 2wdr w/300,000+ miles

what does the engine do when your losing the waveform does it try to shut off or stumble
