Hi all UK tech here, fait 500x 1.0 3 cylinder turbo multiair 2018. Originally had timing codes cam crank correlation timing chain was stripped and was stretched.
another car came in and had no compression, the multiair unit got taken off this car and swapped. Car 2 ran after a couple of cranks.
Original car with timing codes has had new chain fitted, and a brand new multiair block, however it will not start. No compression across any of the cylinders. The multiair unit when fitted seems to hold the valves slightly open even with no oil pressure. Manged to bleed the air out of the system, and it still will not build any compression other than 1 cylinder got to 50psi but the others will not come of 0psi.
pretty sure the multiair brick was bleed correctly, the cam timing is yet to be double checked however we are 99% sure it is seemed very easy to time up.
cam crank sync on wi tech fist software seems to say its in sync. Anyone got a cam crank waveform. What would u guys do. Double check the mechanical timing, if okay then get a new multiair brick. We have tried bleeding it for ages and there is no air in it oil squirts out
