Hi Y'all. I've got a 5.0 with some egr issues. Throwing a code 31. EGR valve works, did the vacuum test. The Green wire at egr valve is giving me 12 volts, the red wire is giving me low voltage, resulting (I think this is the cause in sluggish acceleration and a bit of an erratic idle). The wire runs straight from the computer to the solenoid and it has continuity all the way. The computer is fairly new, though it was installed before I started working on this beast. Is the computer bad? I was thinking about probing the pins, but I have been told that causes damage so I am nervous. The bulk of the things I've fixed on this truck have been shorted out frayed wires. Any advice is so helpful!
Thanks!
