2015 Acadia Transmission issues was created by fahead32
Hi Group,
I have a 2015 Acadia that has a transmission problem , the car was in an accident before I bought it . The radiator and condenser was replaced and the vehicle drove fine . On a return journey after a 200 mile road trip I hit a bump and my top  transmission hose came loose and dump most of trans fluid . The car was towed home and line was reinstated and trans fluid refilled but I had intermitting reverse gear and strained forward gears. I did a code scan and got codes for #3 pressure solenoid stuck off after a bit of research on the code , I found that the common issue was the Techm have a few plastic caps that fail causing the failure.
I remove the Techm but it was the 2nd generation of the part which did not carry the plastic caps but I got a refurbish Techm (parts cannon) replace it and put new fluid and now my forward gears works better but still spotty reverse after cold start and no reverse at all in 2 minutes..
I did a code scan again hoping to get codes at least for a direction but no codes were set . So  I am reaching out asking for help or guidance
Thanks in advance

The only remedy I am aware of for delayed engagement, especially after loss of fluid during operation, is transmission replacement/rebuild.
Hopefully you will find some bit of advice that can save you the expense, but to be honest, if you brought it to my shop and it acted as you describe (and with no transmission codes), that would bey recommendation.
