2010 gmc acadi 3.6L cam crank wavefourm was created by joelshort987654321
Hello im working on a 2010 gmc acadia with the 3.6L
It has timing codes for Intake and Exaust on bank 1 and Exaust on bank 2
It runs decent but does not idle good, fuel trims are all over the place
I took a waveforum of the Intake and Exaust on bank 1 and of the crank sensor I'm having trouble understanding what im looking at (new to using a scope)
I looked up a picture of a known good cam crank on here and the crank signal of the known good looks diffrent than mine
hoping someone can help me understand, thank you
top image is mine made with hantek scope
bottom image is the one i got off this fourm made with picoscope

The crank signal should be low when there is NOT metal of the reluctor wheel disrupting the magnet of the crank sensor. The signal should go high when there IS metal disrupting the magnet of the crank sensor.

The Crank reluctor wheel has 58 teeth, each 3° wide and 3° apart.

6° x 58 = 348°....That leaves a 12° space for the "sync notch". You have an 8° sync notch and and extra-wide tooth preceding it. I would remove the crank sensor and insert an inspection camera to see what is going on with the extra-wide tooth. Is it bent? Is something stuck to it?
