Hello,
This really gave me a hard time, need your help.
I am working on Isuzu Dmax 3 liter diesel engine, No start condition, i connected my scann tool;
Injection pump malfunction
Fuel injection timing control circuit malfunction
Pedal/throttle position sensor circuit high input
CAN: malfunction
no fuel no pressure, so I changed the injection pump with a used one,
the truck starts but poorly, rough idle and stall.
I connected the scan tool
Pedal/throttle position sensor circuit high input
Fuel injection timing control circuit malfunction.
I changed throttle position sensor,
I connected the scan tool again
Fuel injection timing control circuit malfunction.
RPM signal is ok, I don't own a scope to test the crankshaft sensor.
do you think it's a the crank sensor?

Is this the 4jj1 or 4jh1 engine? And it's not common rail is it? It's the Bosch pump with the module mounted on top of the pump? What year? I'll see what info I can find.

Have a look at page 17 and page 60 of that link. It's not looking good for the pump. I can see separate codes for the crank sensor but there's a possible cam sensor failure in the pump. Your code number is p0216?

Ah so you've fitted a new pump and it's all fixed now?
