Hello. I have a 2004 Ford Ranger 3.0 V6 with about 115k miles throwing multiple codes such as misfire on startup, random misfire, misfires on 4,5 & 6, fuel too lean bank 1. I am disabled with next to nothing and miles from anywhere. Can anyone give me any ideas on where to start. Thank you.

Post the exact code numbers, if you can. It may be helpful to read how they apply to your vehicle, specifically,

Can you hear/feel/smell the misfires? Or, is it just codes and a check engine light?
Do you have, or have access to, a scan tool to view data pids?

Codes are P0300 P0304 P0305 P0306 P0316  P0174 off the top of my head. I can feel, hear and smell the misfires. CEL goes from steady to flashing. It is idling around 815 with minimal misfire until I put it in any gear. Even worse, almost dies, if I turn on the blower motor. Stalls on take off at times, but now won't hardly go, so I've kept it parked all week. I found a bulletin online today about faulty heads on 2004 through 2006 of this model with a Ford communication #05263. If this is the case, then it's probably gonna cost more than it's worth to fix. Especially if I cannot do it myself. This is my only vehicle and I'm 20 miles from the nearest small town. 60 from any decent mechanic. I have an OBD2 that showed up in the mail today. I have never used one and I am only experienced in basics from needed repairs on several old junkers over the years. Thank you for getting back with me and for any advice.

I would take the information you found online about the cylinder heads with a grain of salt for now.
I'd probably start with checking fuel pressure based on the symptoms and codes you described

I am curious of what your Fuel Trim and Oxygen Sensor data shows, while the CEL is flashing.
